"Is Munenori Kawasaki Ruining Baseball?"

+

What an awful headline! But at least the writer settles on the fact that no, Munenori Kawasaki is not ruining baseball. But I disagree with his conclusion that Munenori Kawasaki would not impact the All-Star Game and World Series if he somehow got voted in. Because we all know the unpredictable nature of the baseball gods. Mune gets voted in and maybe Mike Trout breaks his hand sliding into second. Or maybe the baseball gods decide to have a little fun instead of just being buzz kills and they allow Mune to hit his one and only MLB home run in the All-Star Game and it just so happens to be a game winning grand slam or something. That would practically ensure that he becomes a folk legend.
