I thing this piece is totally fascinating. (Props - I came across this because it was posted in the Newsstand at BTF.) Two parts one is an interview with Ben Lindbergh of Baseball Prospectus on some of the quantification involving pitch framing. There's also a nice quote from Joe Madden, offering the opinion that Jose Molina saved 50!!! runs for the Rays last year just through pitch framing. After that there's a piece with Dave Valle where Dave gives demonstration of what is involved in pitch framing. Also includes video of Jesus Montero, as an example of what not to do.
