Currently there are 1000+ negative comments regarding this trade and I'm confused. I have always appreciated the hip readers of LL to help me gain knowledge when I'm confused. Thanks in advance to this end.

I understand why 98% of comments are against this trade. BUT. We still have weeks of off season to develop the 2013 roster. Morse and everyone else can still be traded. A great farm system if full of prospects that can still be traded. A decent catcher or two can still be acquired. Etc. Etc.

Can't we hold off just a bit until we see what the end result is? Aren't we working w/ the GM that everyone loved a short time ago? Do you really think we're going into spring training with 6 outfielders and 1/2 a catcher? Is Noesi or Beaven our final starters? (and even if they are please remember their ages please).

I just think we need to think before we jump on the "fire GMZ" bandwagon. He very well may have another "Cliff Lee" up his sleeve. Weren't we all happy with the Franklin G trade? (No 20/20 hindsight comments please. Injuries aren't foreseeable.) There was a lot of happiness at one point for Jack.

I am willing to "wait and see" before pulling the hate trigger. Please help me understand the current hate and why no one seems to be thinking this is not the end of the off season.
