Sorry about the lack of a series preview, but Matthew's away on vacation and like fun do I know how to replicate his mathematical magic. Besides, if you really need a series preview for a series between the Mariners and the Athletics, you probably aren't a fan of the Mariners so you don't really belong here in the first place. The Mariners' lineup is out, but Oakland's lineup isn't yet public, so I've inserted the Oakland A's starting lineup from September 28, 1997.
