The Perfect Playlist

Stay connected for news and updates

Oh hey Lookout Landing! Didn't see ya there. Remember that one time Felix threw a perfect game? Pretty sweet right. Well today, I was out walking, listening to some tunes, and "Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows" shuffled on into my eardrums. Of course this song immediately brought to mind the wonderful memories of being in the Kings Court during that wonderful moment, and I couldn't help myself from smiling and laughing, eliciting some odd looks from others on the street. Sweet story right? Oh, you don't think so? You think that this story is pointless and self serving, well heres a point to throw at ya buddy.

I want to make a permanent avenue for us all to be able to pop on some tunes and remember Felix's perfect game. Therefore, I hereby propose that we, the readers, commenters and lurkers of Lookout Landing, create a playlist that reminds and embodies Felix's perfect game. A Perfect playlist, per se. That way, whenever we're feeling down, we can turn on our Ipod's (or Zune's) and remember that 'hey, Felix threw a perfect game, that's pretty sweet!'

So I propose that people suggest songs that they feel are appropriate for this playlist in the comments, and if you agree that it should go on the playlist, you can rec that comment, and then the 15 (arbitrary cutoff) songs with the most recs after a week will be the official, Lookout Landing playlist for Felix's perfect game.

When you suggest a song, put a link to a manner in which we can all listen to it (youtube or whatever) and maybe a little explanation of why you think it fits.

I hope you all like this idea and I'll get it started with a few suggestions of my own. Here we go!
