David Pauley is back
Mariners sign David Pauley to a minor league deal.

Minor-league deal, and he's reporting to Tacoma. Pauley's made five starts in triple-A this year so he could be rotation insurance or bullpen insurance. Basically, he's David Pauley, ol' reliable swingman. At first in that sentence, instead of typing "Basically", I typed "Baseball". I guess it might've worked. When writing about baseball you might be able to get away with replacing various words with the word "baseball".
