In an unsurprising move, the Mariners have recalled Shawn Kelley from the Tacoma Rainiers and sent Erasmo Ramirez down, presumably to slot into their rotation and get back to regular innings.

Against 54 batters faced down in Triple-A this season, Kelley has 19 strikeouts and just four walks, with zero home runs allowed. His everything has been phenomenal down there. He's throwing strikes, missing bats and getting ground balls. It's worth watching where in the bullpen hierarchy Kelley fits in initially.
