This week marks the beginning of March Madness. For those of us who love college basketball, it's one of the best weeks of the year. Perhaps Robert will be kind enough set up an LL bracket again (hint). I know I love nothing more than watching the epic fail of my bracket with each passing round. And since Gonzaga is in the tourney again, I eagerly anticipate the lighting of things on fire by joof.
Perusing the interwebs this weekend, I kept running across weird random sports. Bottom line, the United Kingdom wins-they invented all the odd stuff. How did I not know International Chess Boxing was a real thing? And of course, everyone's favorite extreme ironing. World gurning championships? Cheese rolling? If I was going to change/invent a sport I'd have basketball played with hockey style substitutions. None of this waiting for the buzzer stuff, just swap out guys as the team runs across the mid-court line.
**UPDATE:
Robert created an ESPN group for all of us who want to compete against each other. It was a lot of fun last year so JOIN THE GROUP HERE. Group Name: Lookout Landing 2012, password:Felix.
