"When Mariners players arrived at their clubhouse Saturday for the start of Spring Training, each was greeted by a Greg Halman shirt hanging in his locker as a tribute to the teammate who was killed in November in his native Holland. The shirts were purchased by Mariners outfielder Mike Carp, a close friend of Halman's from their days coming up in the Minor Leagues together.
