The 2012 Rule 5 draft took place. The Mariners did not take anyone in the major league portion, although Josh Fields was the first pick, taken by our new cohorts, Los Astros.

Also dogs driving. There will be a dog driving competition starring the three trainees to be aired on New Zealand tv on Dec. 10th, which will hopefully wind up on the internet shortly thereafter.
