Not really a fan of the added travel, but I'm sure for Ichiro this could be pretty cool.

The A’s just won the bid to purposely block everyone else from getting him?
They really should change the posting system. The team that wins the bid pay 10% of their bid offer even if they don’t sign the player or something.

as Iwakuma wanted a Barry Zito like contract (long and a lot of money)- and Hisashi Iwakuma isn’t worth Barry Zito money.
