Jeff was also lauded on the ESPN Baseball Today podcast yesterday. (Somewhere around the 13 min. mark if I remember correctly.)
For his work on Prince Fielder’s H/R Lefty splits.

It's great to see people coming to the realization that Jeff is the greatest writer of all time

It's not even sucking up!
Okay, maybe it’s a little bit of sucking up.
But you’re still awesome, Jeff.
This is awesome in many ways,
One of them being that all of the sports “experts” I ever hear on NPR are fools. Before SB XLV they had a guy on saying that the steelers would win because they were the higher seed in their conference. For all of the other quality work that NPR does, they could use a healthy dose of Jeff.
The statistics you don't compile never lie.

As well they should
Fun article. Baseball never ceases to amaze, sometimes resulting in oddities like this.

It's going to be a sad day when Jeff gets stolen away from us.
Don’t take the money, Jeff!
(Actually, you should take the money. And we’ll all be supporting you when you do graduate from SBN.)
You leave LL and I will personally see to it that a wave of diseased fleas maul you in your sleep.
...and now I'm here

Jeff is on the ground floor of a neat internet startup
He can make millions a year and stay right where he is if he plays his cards right. That’s what I’m rooting for.

I wouldn't speculate if Jeff has company shares with SBN.
If he does, wonderful. Otherwise, it really isn’t any of our business. All I know is Jeff’s writing is superb and I wouldn’t be surprised if he is approached with an offer difficult to refuse.
With SBN I have all the freedom in the world
I would just use a competing job offer as leverage
