Chris Ray released
The #Mariners have released reliever Chris Ray.

The Mariners needed to make 40-man roster room for Danny Hultzen, so they jettisoned a veteran reliever who was already on the disabled list. Given that there was no guarantee Ray would be healthy by the end of the season, this was a pretty obvious move, even if it sucks for Ray's self-esteem. I like him because he makes beer, so hopefully this wasn't his final big league job.
