Seattle Mariners pitcher Felix Hernandez and his personal cheering section
A writer at Bill Simmons' Grantland looks at the King's Court. I'm happy with the increasing level of national attention this is getting.

I'll be at Sunday's game.
My girlfriend and I are going to make K signs and wear crowns. I might talk her into wearing Bernandez chops with me.

Why not do all 3 at the same time?

What would show better?
Mariner Blue or Kings Court Yellow?

In that sea of red? Probably yellow.
Ideally you’d have one of the crowns, but yellow still is probably the better choice anywhere but Oakland. But I can see the appeal of an actual M’s shirt or jersey in blue, if that’s what you have.
Not a Kolloen fan, at all
His Ty Willingham fellatio pieces portrayed him as one of those “wins don’t matter, character does” types. I bet he was a big Willie Bloomquist fan.

Well apparently he kind of likes Peguero
which is almost as bad
The game I got to go to during my trip was a Felix start.
We sat in the King’s Court and it was awesome. I really encourage anyone who can make one to do it.
Best part was my step-son got quoted on MLB.com about it.
We also managed to get Vargas, Pauley and League autographs before the game, and we just missed getting the DA. I’ve got to get my pictures uploaded and see if I got anything worth posting up.
Very cool. You pretty much had the maximum experience, I'd say, aside from the Win thing
Certainly if you’re going to come halfway around the world for it, that’s how to do it.
Yeah, I certainly can't complain.
Plus I got to see Ackley hit a homer. Honestly, the only thing that was missing was a win but the experience was still incredible.

Does anyone else get uncomfortable when the
king’s court starts chanting “KKK”?
Frye-lock and I'm on top rock you like a cop
No because that's not the chant
you only hear it in threes because of the association with the KKK but they actually chant K a whole bunch of times in a row.
No, that's the best part.
Because it means Felix threw a strike.

Besides, it's not like
The KKK has any history in Seattle.
Seriously, though, if you’re picking any sequence of three out of a hundred, you’re just looking for a problem.
