Erik Bedard starting against Rays on Friday
He'll replace Blake Beavan in the rotation, although there does exist the possibility that Bedard gets dealt over the weekend, which would bring Beavan right back into the picture. I can't, however, imagine that Bedard's value would be particularly high, regardless of how well he throws. But then Jason Vargas or Doug Fister could get dealt instead. So many possibilities!

Hey, no one is interested in this?
This is a good thing. It’s going to be good to get Erik Bedard back on the hill. If he can continue where he left off, he’s going to make this team much more interesting to watch, and hopefully, help prevent this season from becoming a complete embarassment of a meltdown.
It deserves at least one comment of some sort, so here’s at least one comment.

I have a feeling we're going to hold onto him.
And resign him to something similar next year. So yay for his return!
