A Satisfied Phillies Fan

I had posted here previously about getting tickets to one of the games.  Well, I went to the game on Saturday and it was my first experience at Safeco Field.  I have to say, you guys have a great facility.  I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there, and the fans there are excellent (not as awesome as us Phillies fans if I do say so myself :P lol).  Originally I had intended to only go to one game this year, and it was this past Saturday.  After this weekend, and the great experience I had, I think I might have to schedule at least one more game this year ( I had my eye on the Texas series next month :P)

I have to say, considering all the troubles you had last year, I was pretty impressed by what I saw.  King Felix definitely is something else, and Michael Pineda has potential to be quite beastly.  God, I would've LOVED to see King Felix vs Doc Halladay.  Unfortunately, it was only the Nite Owl (Think Watchmen) Vance Worley.  You guys definitely have a team for the future.  And that Dustin Ackley really seems legit.  I stood and applauded when he hit his first home run.  And I apologize for any idiot Philly fans there might've been.  I ain't like them :(

Anyway, it was an excellent series and I don't mind the fact we lost the series to you guys.  Here's hoping you guys can keep pace with Texas and eventually overtake them!  Good luck to you guys the rest of the series!   I shared my positive sentiment of Safeco Field with my fellow Phillies fans at The Good Phight if you guys want to take a look :P The Fish Goes to Safeco
