David Aardsma resumes throwing
It's been a month since Aardsma went on the rehab course over the surgery one, and I guess that he's been cleared to resume throwing. This doesn't mean much just yet - he presumably had a very light session, and we'll see how he feels in the coming days - but it is still a positive step.

I wonder what role he'll play now.
Aaron Curry was a bust the moment he took the field.
I miss Alex Rodriguez.

Well, we lack a clear shutdown set-up reliever.
Aardsma could ably fill that role if he’s recovered fully.
David Pauley says hi?

Yeah, he probably says, 'yo.'
I fucking hate you Mariners
I suppose Aardsma would say Hello with much more authority.

So who's got July 3rd as the date for his Tommy John sugery?
I’ll take the over on that, but only because I think it’ll take him that long to come to terms with it, and Dr. Jobe probably has quite a backlog.
