Around SBN: Devils Beat Rangers, Head To Stanley Cup Finals

This is currently unconfirmed, and even a visit might just be a routine visit and nothing more, but I don't know why Dr. Andrews would perform a routine check-up on Kelley considering Dr. Yocum did his surgery. So this is something to monitor, as visits to these doctors are usually scheduled for ominous reasons. Note that Kelley most recently threw an inning with Jackson on Monday, and nothing seemed to be wrong at the time.

Unbridled Optimism???

Trying to find the most positive possible speculation here ….

Andrews clinic is in Birmingham. Might the Mariners simply be taking the opportunity to have Kelley checked out by Andrews as long as Kelley’s just a short plane ride away from Birmingham? Maybe even have Andrews do one of his analyses where he puts reflectors all over a guy’s body and takes high speed video of him pitching so he can break down all of the stresses during the pitching motion and create a baseline for future assessments???

It certainly is unusual to send a guy to Andrews without some prior assessment of injury by a regular team orthopod. So it’s plausible that this might just be proactive or preemptive.

Um, what?

He’s not with the Generals right now, and is not in tonight’s box score. Where did you get that from?

Was following live via Gameday and it showed him pitching

Must have been a MiLB glitch, wouldn’t be the first time.

Ah, yeah, probably. I'd guess a player ID got crossed up.

Jandy Sena was called up today and pitched in the game, I’d guess that’s who they claimed Kelley was.

Either way, Kelley isn’t even with the team right now; I’ve had that separately confirmed.
