Jack Wilson back in lineup
So says Greg Johns via Eric Wedge. The lineup is to be the same as the Opening Day lineup but with Saunders in for Langerhans at CF.

I did not expect them to put Jack back in for Felix Day because the last Felix start was when Jack imploded. Result: amusing to me. So it was ironic to me even if you did not find it ironic.

Deliberately contrary is not the same as coincidentally different
It would be ironic if Felix Hernandez insisted that Eric Wedge put in Jack Wilson for today’s game because you would not expect that the person nominally harmed as a result of Jack Wilson’s play to be a booster of his.
I did not expect to find $5 in my pants pocket this morning because I often do not forget to put dollar bills in my money clip. Me finding said $5 bill this morning was not an example of irony. It’s an example of coincidence.
Good timing.
Keeping up with news is hard. I’m going to go back to writing about things that happened thirty years ago.
