It will be a frequent topic today - the absence of Dave Niehaus for the first time. It casts a damper on an otherwise festive occasion. It cannot be ignored but I hope that doesn't preclude us from enjoying the game tonight. I tried to think of some words worthy of writing in memorial today, but after consideration, I found more comfort in re-reading the thoughts and feelings already expressed back in November.
