In the sheer exuberance, I've already forgotten what we talked about specifically because we both were flitting quickly from one topic to the next, but we touch on the differences between Brett Anderson's and Brandon McCarthy's twitter feeds and that's really all you need to know. There's also some Mariner filler in there.

Opening Day and a LLCast on the same Friday
After this crap day at work, it’s like Christmas an my birthday rolled into one.
In a way 2011 is kind of worrying me.
I’d be happy if we can be near 80 wins which is probably possible but if things go badly I’m going to be pretty sad. If a combination of Smoak, Ackley, Pineda, Saunders, Figgins, and Gutierrez don’t progress and have bad years, it means this team is probably going to be pretty bad for a few years. I still have lots of hope and am excited for the future but the downside would be somewhat crushing.

Hilarious and fun
I was laughing out loud several times, and I don’t usually do that with podcasts. Clearly Jeff is at his funniest when gets himself unmoored in time.
(BTW: it’s fusion. The sun is fusing light elements, not fissioning heavy ones. Not a nit I would normally pick, especially in a discussion as light as this, but since you were talking radiation and you are clearly men who are wise in the ways of science …)
