Jack Wilson was originally in there at second base but he was scratched to attend to a personal matter, which is a better explanation than being scratched to attend to an impersonal matter. Wouldn't anything that a player is attending to be a personal matter?
Available to pitch behind Felix will be Jose Flores, Josh Lueke, Cesar Jimenez, Denny Bautista, Justin Miller, and Royce Ring. Available to pitch behind Francis will be I don't know because they wrote the Royals press notes in obnoxious green highlighter. Opening those notes makes me feel like I need to go to the optometrist.
