David Aardsma is officially a free agent
One could choose to interpret this tweet as a sign that he's gone for good, but the chance still exists that Aardsma could re-sign at a lower price than he would've made through arbitration. One thing's for sure: regardless of whether or not David Aardsma comes back, my laptop is on a glass desk. This sure is glass, this desk.

I like The DA. Hopefully he will resign with the Ms and come back around mid-season.
Unless they are in the chase for the Division or Wild Card, I would be shocked if League is not dealt. If he wants a chance to step back in as a closer to build free agent value, Seattle would be a good landing spot (assuming the M’s can provide him with save situations).
On one hand sure it makes plenty of sense to trade League understanding that he should have value and this team isn't likely to challenge next year.
However, the team had every chance to trade him this year at the deadline (caveat about how we don’t know what teams were willing to give up) and the team also did not trade Aardsma two deadlines ago when he was healthy, having success, and the going rate for relievers was silly. Boy would it suck to have Wilson Ramos now or whatever.
Good bye Wily Mo
Wish I could have seen you clobber a ball out of Safeco in person!

He re-tweeted Geoff Baker saying his free agency does not rule out a return to Seattle. Personally I could take him or leave him, he could be a good pick up for the right price but he hasnt been healthy in forever. If we re-sign him will he be ready to pitch at the begining of next season?
From msb's link above
missed all of last season after undergoing hip surgery in December and then Tommy John surgery in July after injuring his elbow during his comeback. He said doctors generally expect a one-year recovery period, and he expects to be fully Major League ready by June or July.
Sure. Neat at the right price, not so much if he's expensive
I think I just described 80% of the free agents who have ever been available

May I direct you to a post about Jeff Gray, or at the very least to a post you could have created yourself about Jeff Gray?
