as a non Mariner fan
I am still shocked out how bad you guys did this season. I really thought going into the season you had a dominant team with Felix and Lee…figgins and Ichiro

I don't think anyone thought we'd be dominant.
Basically, the best case scenario was squeaking one out as an ~85-88 true talent team in a tight division with a little luck. It was pretty obvious there were questions at C, infield depth, and DH.
What very few predicted was that almost everything that COULD go wrong that wasn’t named Felix, Ichiro and Cliff Lee DID go wrong.

.
The Sox fan who got kicked out for fan interference on Ortiz’s book rule double purchased one of our extras for the game. He wasn’t actually sitting in our seat, since he was in the first row, but he was escorted out right up our aisle:

(I know, my phone is effed up, not sure why it’s taking pictures like that).
Apparently @StephRaePowers also ran into him at a bus stop and he was a cool guy.
Also, during the bottom of the ninth, a Sox fan said to me “Did somebody pay you to wear that jersey?” (I was wearing my RR-S jersey, although it was unclear whether he really cared what the name was.) I told him to fuck off…wish I had better comeback skillz.

Nice picture. Was the stadium really that empty? That section looked like there were some fans.
I’m thinking nobody will be there for “Fan Appreciation Night”, and that’s exactly what they deserve. Put a winning team on the field or give the blue ray thingy to someone who doesn’t even have electricity. In fact, forget the blue ray thing, and just turn this into a food bank for the night. Free tickets for anyone willing to watch this team and a 12 pack of soup as a gift.

That section behind him
is one of the last sections in the 100 level to fill up (113 I think?) as it is getting into the worst of the field level seats, but they are still more expensive than the outfield seats (which IMO are better). But, the stadium was pretty empty. 300 level had several 100% empty sections.

With all the talk of how tough the Mariners' remaining schedule is
Do you think they catch the Pirates?
Not likely since we're 6.5 games up on them and have Felix going a few more times
And oh man they are bad.
I'm gonna take a shot and say Google image land

Yeah, in this country...
white means the cars in the other lane are going the same direction as you are. While yellow means they are coming the opposite way. So, yeah that looks messed up. Maybe it’s a metaphore of the M’s season or something.
Well, on multi-lane roads, that is.
I guess I’ve seen just white on a two lane, so… whatever.
White and yellow should never mix ever- white means traffic is parallel to you, yellow means traffic is coming at you
White yellow means the universe is exploding

I'd like to think Jeff used that graphic
specifically to make Corco feel uncomfortable.
