Before the last Giants/Padres series:

Jonathan Sanchez in the first game of that series:
5.1 IP, 5 hits, 3 earned runs, 2 BB, 4 K. He got the loss. The Padres took 2 of 3 in that series.

That DP may be my favorite play of the year.
I’d just gotten home from watching the Rainiers lose and was certain the M’s would, too. I was feeling hopeless and bitter and then THAT happened. BASEBALL!
Exactly my sentiments. Family movie/game night had just ended. We turned on the game and
that was what we saw. That was the best DP I’ve seen all year. Figglet has his share of errors at 2B, but that was awesome.

My local Sheriff’s Department issued a warning about Pedobear as a pedophile mascot.
