Chris Woodward up to replace Jack Wilson
We'll see how much time Wilson ends up missing, but for now, we've got Woodward. It's been an interesting season for Woodward in Tacoma - the numbers aren't great, but the power's spiked up a little bit, and he's showed off by playing second base, shortstop, third base, and left field. Depending on the circumstances, he could end up seeing some real playing time, and something something you guys realize we're talking about Chris Woodward right

So our shortstops are now Chris Woodward and Josh Wilson
I cannot think of any two less exciting players in the Major Leagues of BaseBall
Reaction face thread?

less fair-weather fans?
more easy to find free parking at the stadium?
shorter lines at the ballpark to get in and at concessions?
… :-)
Replacing Jack Wilson with Chris Woodward will surely keep fans away by the thousands

Actually, having to not see Jack's face on the jumbo-tron might help with attendance.

His ears stick out funny.

If there are any fair-weather fans left by this point they have really misinterpreted the concept of "fair weather"
Hmm looks like flaming skulls are falling from the sky, think I’ll go for a walk.
Holy shit Chris Woodward is 34 yrs old
When Jeff Dominguez and Chris Woodward are playing AAA you know your system lacks middle infield depth.
In 640 games, and 1864 PAs, Woodward's career WAR is 0.9
The dude is the living definition of “Replacement Level.”
He's also bland and inoffensive.
Can you tell he used to play for Toronto?
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.
The power's "spiked up a little bit"?
He’s slugging .329, and .268 the last 10 games. It’s hard for me to imagine Wak choosing Woodward over Josh Wilson on any given day.
Up to and including unemployment.
I can't resist clicking "Rec" when I see a post with four [of them] already.
