I pretty much stopped reading after the Cliff Lee section
that is unbelievably awesome. Sorry we couldn’t be a better team for you, Cliff.
I wonder why people say Felix has little chance at the Cy Young.
Then I remember “Oh yeah, that guy”. :(
I avoid reading stuff about Cliff Lee for fear of seeing that smile in a Rangers uniform.

I'm a bit annoyed the A's seem to have gotten Henry Rodriguez to back off on his velocity in exchange for some semblance of command.
In the PCL playoffs last year, he had an AB where his velo was 100, 102, 100, 103, 99 (!), 101. The gun’s pretty reliable.
Mind you, he was a wreck and the control numbers mentioned show why. But people love freak shows, and it was amazing to watch people dig in and try to hit a guy who may have thrown faster than Zumaya and had no idea where the ball was going.
