Bard for Felix again. Might a certain somebody be trying to wean a certain somebody off a certain somebody?

If "The Matrix" was filmed today, Neo would be dead since no one owns land lines anymore.

Unless there's an app for that.

Only the ones in New York.

Fewer, and this would not help if they are stuck in a house or a building.
...and now I'm here
Morneau has been awesome this year and it gave me some perspective as I looked up some other stats:
Justin Morneau, 2010: .345/.437/.618, 0.81 BB/K, +16.9 UZR/150
Joey Votto, 2010: .326/.425/.611, 0.74 BB/K, +7.5 UZR/150
Josh Hamilton, 2010: .362/.407/.636 0.397, +3.8 UZR/150
Miguel Cabrera, 2010: .349/.425/.651 0.77 BB/K, -9.3 UZR/150
Albert Pujols, 2001-2010: .331/.425/.622, 1.41 BB/K, +8.0 UZR/150
Barry Bonds, 2001-2005: .347/.556/.805, 3.12 BB/K, +6.5 UZR/150

Young just Ichiro'd that one.

It's funny how errors don't really matter much when evaluating defenders

Felix
…was the only reason I wanted to watch today…
I'm feeling kind of angry at Jack Z because of no trades and then Tui + White
though I realize he probably doesn’t give a shit about the rest of this season and I don’t know why I do or want to watch a few wins but Jesus fucking Christ what kind of team is this to watch at this point? Kotchman is batting 3rd now as a permanent thing? That’s as ridiculous as Lopez hitting cleanup.
This is the worst.
ignacio
Yeah, I'm feeling irrational, but that's what emotion is
and this has been a bad week.
ignacio
Not as ridiculous as Lopez cleaning up.
Lopez is about the worst hitter in major league baseball. Kotchman is just the worst 1B currently in MLB.
Why anyone is surprised that Mauer can hit anyone is beyond me
...and now I'm here
If I was a Seattle starting pitcher my morale would be down in the basement
and this does have some influence on how you pitch. I mean if you just feel hopeless and you’re out there versus an enthusiastic, pumped-up team that can hit.
I feel so badly for Felix.
ignacio
Wouldn't you want to pitch harder so you can try to keep the score close if you have a bad offense?
If there were such a phenomenon.
by Jackle Mackle on Jul 31, 2010 4:53 PM PDT up reply actions
Yeah, and these guys are mostly mentally tougher than me
plus they have coaches reassuring them and teammates so they’re not all alone
ignacio
Aww don't say that champ.
You’ll get em next time!

I feel like Felix is out there for himself right now
He’s got too much spunk to be down in the dumps. But that’s just an opinion.
Casey Kotchman is the only Mariner succeeding in this ballgame
I’m so glad he’s established that he’s good again
I feel like Nancy Kerrigan...
WHY?!? WHY?!???
There are 2 things in this world that I do not trust when they're wireless and that is phones and marionettes.
It is interesting that a family named "MacPhail" has had such a long and successful history in the MLB
...and now I'm here
One of those is better than the other.

Whatever, people's failings are still funny
even if the presentation leaves a lot to be desired.

They're both retarded

Kevin Slowey has the worst FB% in MLB
but you’d never know it watching this game.
I want to sign Manny Ramirez to be our DH in 2011.
How can we get him for cheap? Let’s accuse him of horrible things so no one else wants him.
...and now I'm here
It's better for the team if I believe they can come back.
As a fan, it’s my job to send them some supportive karmic energy. I’ll try.
Felix is great.
ignacio
And give Wak and excuse to bench Saunders for an outfielder with a -5.8 career UZR-150 and projected to be a below average hitter?
You can put him AAA and see if he finds any of the magic that made him a good hitter a few years back.
That's what I was saying. We need people who can play OF in Tacoma.
It was more of a knock on our current AAA OF.
You got slurved!
As Jeff said the other day, these guys are human beings
and it’s tough failing so publicly — even if you’re a millionaire.
And some of these players are seeing their futures going irrevocably downhill
ignacio
DINGERS DON'T WORRY GUYS DINGERS ARE ON THE WAY!
That’s how I interpreted that M’s building to the future.
You got slurved!
They should replace the entire MLB team with the entire AAA team
just to see what happens…
He was actually called up to AAA yesterday.

Lueke really looks good.
I think if it weren’t for his off-field issues, he’d be the closer of the future in Texas. Eyeballing his GB% over his career, it looks like high 40’s, plus 76Ks and 11BB in 45 IP in 2010.
I still think he's a big part of this team going forward.
Ackley, Smoak, Saunders, Felix, Pineda, Gutierrez. Those five names could be the center of the team won a world series in 2013.
You didn't know that?
That’s what he’s known for

Damn it.
I go take a piss and Michael Saunders doubles.
This is not a Dodger's blog

I think he was just hoping all went well for G@B3
I, for one, hope his piss was outstanding.

God even Felix day has lost its meaning.
This is a dark, dark place we have come to.
According to my calculations, your problem doesn't exist.
BIG INNING RIGHT HERE
I just don’t want Felix under .500
I searched "Langerhans walk off" and somehow came across this on Seattlist:

This can’t be serious, can it?
I don't know.
Are you familiar with Tao Lin, whose “Shoplifting from American Apparel” is a big online hipster sensation (or whatever)?
ignacio
Wow, that was Emphatic, Ump...
Root for the Twins much???
Felix pitched well
after the 1st 4 pitches or so
ignacio
Take out that 1st inning
and the Mariners still lost…
