Is it so much to ask that
this team just stay consistently average? At this point, I’m fine with the playoffs being a welcome, albeit entirely unexpected surprise—how about we just focus on building a good, practical .500 team? Nothing too flashy, just…consistent. (And, of course, I know it doesn’t work like that.) Watching a horrendously god-awful team that occasionally flirts with mediocrity is getting a wee mite tedious, even for me.
Chone Figgins's batting average is up to .241 and this makes me happy
I’m not sure my standards could be much lower
I think we should call up Tui if Jose Lopez is going to the longterm bench

So,is the dream that i had a couple days ago about the Mariners not only going to the
world series(hopefully in our lifetime),but winning it all……come true? Or do i still need to see reality BIG TIME.
I honestly don't see a reason to do much more than check how big the team lost by anymore.
I don’t know, make Ichiro our fourth starter or something.
I didn't see this game. I checked the boxscore later on to see if Saunders got a hit.
Then I looked here to see the chart. These guys are going to lose more than 100 games.
