Is that our Saunders or just Saunders?
Because, you know, Joe….

Mostly Joe I would think.
But hey, our #Saunders probably contributed some too.
Kotchman got on-base four times today.
He’s doing a pretty good job of proving he’s not worthless. Good to see.
TRADE ICHIRO
Seriously, though, trade Lopez
Some team with a short left field wall?
Houston, Philadelphia… I don’t know all the stadiums, I don’t pay much attention to other teams. But it seems like his pull-hitting might do well, and a new environment might cure him of whatever laziness is real and not just perceived. Lots of players sparkle after a trade.
ignacio
If we trade him to Arizona, probably Justin Upton.
33!

If we throw in Vargas that might actually fly.
Also, Michael Saunders looks like Kurt Cobain.

He looks like Jake Locker stupid!
Though they sink through the Sea, they shall rise again...Death shall have no dominion...
Lots of players sparkle after a trade from Seattle.
Fixed.

God dammit can Twilight go along with religion, politics and fantasy baseball as banned topics?
No offense to you guys, I just really don’t like the whole vampire fad that has the teeny boppers going nuts.

Team Milton.
The power to make everyone shiver when he smiles and break 34 ounce pieces of wood over his leg.
Team Dracula
Because not one can match up to him, but I rather get out the garlic and slay all of them.

So was the spread of the plague.

It's interesting in the exact same way that massive natural disasters are interesting.
They make for interesting storylines that follow the inexorable spread of tragedy and that highlight the ways in which that tragedy has forever changed peoples’ lives. Twilight fits in this bucket, I think.

Natural disasters don't make teenaged girls scream and swoon at red carpet events.
It would be awesome if they did though, all with big hand painted signs, “I <3 you Hurricane Andrew, have my babies!”
Hey, it worked for the Fertile Crescent.

The aliens in Independence Day had groupies, right?
Up until the point at which they were annihilated, but still – disaster groupies!
by Chris Hafner on Jul 26, 2010 9:19 AM PDT up reply actions
The groupies didn't know they were going to get blown up though.
I think that’s a necessary element in this whole scheme.

They were interesting when I was 10 and obsessed with Pokemon
Now fads are on a scale between meh and fucking annoying. The show Lost or the World Cup are meh, while Twilight leans towards the fucking annoying side.
2010 Safeco Field Record: 2-1 ; Overall Safeco Field Record: 12-5
Sorry for ripping on the World Cup
That probably took it too far.
2010 Safeco Field Record: 2-1 ; Overall Safeco Field Record: 12-5
Well I am probably partial towards them since I worked for them
but if you want to go comparing a condiment to an event that happens once every four years, then go ahead but I don’t see the comparison.
Sorry if I pissed you guys off about speaking negatively about soccer in a blog who’s posters and writer(s) love soccer. But if I pissed anyone off about Twilight I am not sorry, Twilight sucks, get over it and listen to your Fall Out Boy.

Loafie to Boston makes a small amount of sense.
With Beltre and (most likely) Bill Hall gone after this season, Lopez wouldn’t be an altogether bad utility infielder or stopgap third baseman.
Wait, no, he would be a pretty bad utility infielder or stopgap third baseman wherever he goes.
And then all that sense goes away when you realize the Red Sox would never in a million years trade for Lopez
Uh huh.
Despite having two players down in Pawtucket who can hit and play comparable defense to Cash.
I don't know the Red Sox organizational depth, or organization in general, so I'm really in no place to argue
But maybe it had something to do with Wakefield and a personal knuckleball catcher
He played for the Sox before and I guess a few pitchers here really like his game-calling abilities.
Plus the whole Wakefield thing, too.
