For those of you that missed it, Rock Bottom Brewery is hosting a social event for the socially awkward to celebrate the upcoming launch of Seattle's regional site for SB Nation. For a glimpse of what it'll look like, here are the Dallas/Fort Worth and Boston examples. The site will cover Seattle-area sports, collegiate sports from the rest of the state, and, with luck, a not insignificant amount of vulcanology.

Anyway, as far as the event is concerned, I've mentioned it before, but once again, the details:

King Felix and the Mariners play the Yankees at 4:05 and the Sounders play the Timbers at 7:30, so there'll be plenty to watch on the TVs if you aren't much for talking. Unfortunately, because of the midweek timing I won't be able to make it, and because the Sounders are in Portland neither will Matthew, but I believe the rest of the area blogmasters around the network will be in attendance, so go hang out with them, or go hang out with readers of their sites, or go hang out in a little LL clique off to the slide that casts judging glances at everybody else, and throws little things at other people for some reason.
