GRIFFEY!
Hard work never killed nobody, but I won't take my chances.
When Griffey isTHE MAN, we've got some serious trouble...
as evidenced by that chart. Lord, please help us. Can everybody just get out of their funk already. No, that’s not a question, that is a FUCKING ORDER.

Well, that's a depressing WE chart.

Mathematically speaking, how many games back before our expected probability of making the post season moves from ok to snowball's chance in hell?
I can realistically see this team being out of contention for good before May ends. Someone make me feel better :(
Using our pythag RS and RA numbers
Looks like 8.4%. If you don’t think the team is as bad as they have played lately then those numbers go up.

Goddamn it. We're playing the Angels on my birthday. If Tori Hunter ruins my birthday, I'm stabbing someone.

I'm already at the point where missing the entire game today didn't bother me in the slightest.
“We want to get good and stay good.”
So much for that 2nd part.
You're dead to me.
Yup. They're my NL team.
I really had a hard time rooting for them when Bonds was there, because he was a dick, but still. Now, they’re like the good version of us. And they’ve got a really nice stadium, too.

Let's Go DBacks!
Yeah they may not win that many more games that the Mariners this year, but they should hit well all year, and right now that’s enough for me.
You're dead to me.
I was at the game
It was college night, and people were angry, stupid and kind of drunk. It was like listening to USSM commenters yell their posts.
That explains why three different people with which I went to high school who don't even really like baseball were at the game.
… while I was working.
I'd sleep at the Internet, but I've found servers don't make for good pillows.

I thought tomorrow was college night.
2010 Safeco Field Record: 0-0 ; Overall Safeco Field Record: 10-4
I want Safeco Field to burst into flames and for the flames to burn so hot that the whole thing to melt and turn to liquid and for Dave Niehaus to build a boat out of Ken Griffey Jr.'s spare ass-girdles
and row Ichiro, Guti, Felix, Lee and League to safety and for all the rest of these stupid herpes pustules to be engulfed in flames and die in the most painful way possible.

I hate to actually discuss that game
But I can’t stop but wondering what is up with RRS. Please get better. This is very worrying.
Can't find the zone.
Even against lefties. Really frustrating. And then throws meatballs to make up for it, that get pummeled for doubles.
Note, I have no numbers to back this up, other than his K/BB being really bad. But from observation, seems about right

The first rule of Lookout Landing is...
Speaking of which, I didn't pay attention that close to Snell tonight
How’d he look in relief? Better than normal?
