Absolutely not.

Good, but with our luck, he'll only miss a week or two
I haven’t seen the highlight yet thanks to FOX’s blackout bullshit, and it doesn’t appear to be online yet.
Carlos Silvelite
They were putting an aircast on his ankle.
Possibly broken :D

This makes the Felix/Morales baseball commercial even more hilarious
Nearly prophetic in more ways than one.
That made losing easier..
But a certain fat man won his 7th today and K’d 11 Cards in the process….

Really? I hadn't heard

I know that a lot of people don't read the game threads
But believe me, we know. And now we can stop talking about this.

Yeah I wasn't home til the 8th.
I’m going to the game tomorrow though, hopefully Snell can- yeah I won’t kid myself.

Soft tossing lefty + Cardinals lineup = two- or three- hitter
It’s one of the strongest constants in the universe.
Soft-tossing anyone, then.
They just especially have troubles versus lefties.
The Cards are a mess right now, but Silva was getting some real sweetheart calls.
I was following both games on gameday, and gameday hated a lot of Silva’s called strikes as much as it hated that called strike against Ichiro to end the top of the 10th. By the way, what the FUQ was up with that call? It was a plate-width outside according to gameday. Was it that bad on the TV?

Yeah, it definitely is, considering it was the other foot
But even the actual injury looked almost identical to that.

Well dammit, now they added more pictures.
Just go to AP images and search for Kendry Morales and it will pop up.

Yeah, you're right
After looking at it several more times, I all of a sudden saw it differently. It kind of popped out at me, like an autostereogram.

It's on youtube, if anyone is interested in seeing it before it gets taken down.

That photo was shopped but, it was really close to how far it actually turned.
Barring a miracle he’s done for the year.
"It's a light bat"
Roy Halladay didn't injure his ankle in the postgame celebration, unlike Kendry Morales
Determined, Jonesing Commentor
I'm kind of surprised that teams have been doing that since (before?) 2004 and it didn't occur to the players that something like this might happen.
Jumping onto a slippery surface that you can’t see while wearing metal spikes and getting mobbed by 25 guys… That kind of sounds like Injurytown to me.

Brandon League has a positive WPA for this game?

Nevermind. It's -.121 on Fangraphs.
Transcribing errors happen to all of us. Or maybe Fangraphs was slow on the update for WPA by player. Either way I opened my big mouth before I checked the source. My bad.

Chone Figgins made an error
Fangraphs is wrong.
