Gotta give credit to Jose for the homer though

I hated it last year!
This year I’m enjoying it!

Seattle Mariners 6.5 games back, Boston Red Socks 6.5 games back.
All things considered (including division) who has the best shot at the playoffs?
Really?
They have to catch Tampa Bay for the division and the Yankees for the Wild Card, both of which I think are much better teams than the Sox this year.
We only have to catch Texas.
We have three teams to catch.
Also, the Red Sox are considerably better than us, and there will almost surely be two playoff spots in their division.
I havent checked PECOTA today
But a few days ago the M’s playoff odds were less than 1 percent. The Sox were 35%.
