So, I've been tasked with planning a bachelor party for a friend who is getting married this summer. He's a pretty mellow dude, and by the time you're an old fogey like me, the idea of going to a strip club and getting blasted out of our minds is less attractive than it used to be.
He mentioned something about just hanging out and playing video games with his friends, but I think I'd like to make it a little more memorable than that. The idea of going go kart racing is pretty appealing, but there aren't too many options in the Portland metro area, with the majority of them being out in the far-flung suburbs...which doesn't allow much in the way of post-race food and/or drinks.
Whiskey tasting sounds intriguing as well, but that's not something that can constitute a full day of activities. I'd like to include a BBQ into the plans, but am having trouble reconciling that with any other plans.
Any novel ideas from the LL think tank? I'd appreciate any and all input.
Also, feel free to discuss things we normally discuss: movies, shows, beer, video games, hilarious GIFs, etc...
