Wow.
I just logged on to check the score. We were down, 4-3.
I opened a new FanPost, read it, returned to the mainpage and suddenly we’re ahead.
Yippee.
Time to hand it over to the DA!

Wait!
We are not quite done in this inning. DA wouldn’t mind a two-run cushion, I don’t think.

Doesn't Phil Coke suck as well?
All I remember are my Yankees associates complaining about him.
[DELETED ZOMG NO POLITICS]
Woah, we're winning?
I turned the TV off when we were down 4-1 because I figured there was no way we could come back.

TIME FOR ICHI-REDEMPTION
Is that the light at the end of the tunnel, or the headlights of an oncoming train?
This would be a swell time for Ichiro to not suck
and give us a small cushion facing the top of Tiger’s lineup
Time for a Griffey Pinch Hit...
Because that won’t screw anything up…
If you are Stan Marsh
Otherwise it’s not quite an anagram for annoying people.
Randy Marsh that is.

Funny I was just talking to someone about his rookie season.

You're right, that was way out of line.
I shouldn’t have insulted our homerun leader like that.
I want to know the odds
Ichiro going 0-5 and Rob Johnson going 1-3 with 2 runs.
Ichiro is going to be the biggest suckfest two games in a row

You know how Putz had Thunderstruck as his intro music?
Too much to ask that Aardsma gets the theme from Night Court as his?
You can't be a catcher if you can't catch. Rob Johnson will henceforth be listed as a traffic cone on the roster.

But the Night Court theme is so damn catchy.

As long as Ichiro keeps struggling
The Seattle Mariners keep on winning. That makes no sense. Maybe Ichiro is not needed on this team?

I hope Felix starts on Saturday
It’d be 6 days between starts for him, and then Fister on Sunday and Vargas on Monday on full rest, so push back that scrub Snell until June 1.
M's site says Snell Saturday, Felix Sunday
I don’t understand it, either.
Try not to take me too seriously
Agreed
We aren’t getting production out of the Snell/RRS spot. We have four (maybe 3.5) starters giving us GREAT innings. This seems like a slam dunk. Which is why Wak won’t do it.
Gotta give him some credit the last couple days
Solid lineups, solid in-game moves… Still has a ways to go, but recently it has been ok.
by seattlesundevil on May 26, 2010 3:47 PM PDT up reply actions
Yeah
The lineups the last couple days have been better. He seems to realize that Kelley/League are the two go-to relievers (although we should thank Z for taking away White and Jesus for sucking non-stop for that). If he can stick with the “good” lineup and stop people from bunting non-stop, his damage will be limited.
Jesus is still in the bullpen.

TUI IS NOT A GOOD ATHLETE

by Cantu Easley Winn on May 26, 2010 3:38 PM PDT reply actions
Tui is not a good Major League Baseball player.
But I have no doubt that he is a far superior athlete than 99% of the population.
But compared to other baseball players?
Do you want to hear about my fantasy team?
by Cantu Easley Winn on May 26, 2010 3:39 PM PDT up reply actions
Skill at baseball is not the sole measure of athleticism.
Just because he doesn’t perform well on the field doesn’t mean he’s a bad athlete. His athleticism might have served him playing football or basketball (both of which he played, and he was recruited for football by multiple D1 schools, even signed an LOI to UW). He was a high school All-American. He’s an athlete.
Put another way: Prince Fielder is a really good baseball player. Great strength, hand eye coordination, tremendous bat. He is also nearing 300 pounds and under six feet tall.
That is a good point.
I was wrong in saying he is a bad athlete. He still sucks though :(

I'd take him on my company softball team.
We already have Byrnes playing right.
He's not, but he makes a wicked shaving cream pie. Jr. taught him.
He tried to teach him to deliver it too, but he’s not the best athlete.

I'm pretty sure that 80% of Lookout Landing's population could kick his boney ass.
