ESPN did a piece on Milton Bradley, including some pretty revealing information on the actual day of him asking the Mariners for help and why he did it. Now we know why he checked himself out, from what appears to be his own words.

Glad the guy got help
I’ve suffered from panic and anxiety attacks for the last year and it is the worst feeling I could imagine. To be in Milton’s shoes and suffer from it is unreal, he describes it really well. It does feel like the entire world is going to ridicule you for everything you do.
ESPN's online content is hit-and-miss a lot of the time, but anything put together by Outside The Lines is always quality journalism.
I can't resist clicking "Rec" when I see a post with four [of them] already.
Great article, it only further strengthens my opinions on Bradley.
God dammit all I would love it for him to truly succeed here.
