We finally have a few baserunners, we just had two batters walk in the inning and Lopez, who’s been pretty terribad when there’s runners on base this year, swings at the first pitch and gets out. It’s understandable in my opinion.

Honestly I don't understand just giving up the steal at this point
A three-run lead seems a little too tight to not even try and throw him out
Yeah, it makes no sense to me either.

Then not tag on a marginal fly ball? what was the fucking point of stealing 3rd then….. And kotchman should have tested someones arm and tried to score in the 7th after RJ’s double… This 3rd base coach= super conservative lately

The Astros are looking for dingers, too. No way they can say no to a Kotchman/Berkman swap!
My opinion of his defensive prowess is formed strictly from listening to the radio.
So in sense, you could say a blind man can tell he sucks at defense.
Okay seriously
I know as Seattle sports fans there’s a certain amount of pessimism that comes along for the ride, but lately the amount of it in the gamethreads has been excessive.
