Was this question for a particular person?

Carlos Silva is latin for "Let the buyer beware".

by ErictheRed on Apr 23, 2010 7:52 PM PDT up reply actions

Then he hit a home run, and we were up by one.

Then they scored a run in the bottom of the inning and now we’re tied.

...and now I'm here

by CapSea on Apr 23, 2010 7:50 PM PDT up reply actions

But how does giving up a run negate a grand slam?

I know we’re no longer winning, but we would be losing if not for that Lopez Slam

by Allen Wu on Apr 23, 2010 7:51 PM PDT up reply actions

Your assertion was that nothing can negate Lopez's grand slam.

And I have proved mathematically this is not true. I never said I was arguing the emotional aspect of the grand slam.

...and now I'm here

by CapSea on Apr 23, 2010 7:56 PM PDT up reply actions

Something that happened before the grand slam cannot "negate" it, if you want to get this technical.

The grand slam negated RR-S’s mediocre start. RR-S’s mediocre start did not negate the grand slam. Get the order right.

And the “nothing can negate Lopez’s grand slam” remark was purely on the emotional aspect of it, so this whole argument is pointless.

by Allen Wu on Apr 23, 2010 7:58 PM PDT up reply actions

So what do you think of Byrnes right now?
