Felix hit a grand slam off of Johan for heaven's sake.

I wouldn’t be so sure he isn’t a flat-out upgrade as of now.

He’s done it twice today and I haven’t watched a game in a week. Anyone who’s been watching have some insight?

by Double06 on Apr 16, 2010 9:13 PM PDT reply actions

Yup.

However, he also has a 20% IFFB this season, .244 BA and .278 BABIP. His GB% is at around career averages, though, which is why I’m asking.

by mjhhiv on Apr 16, 2010 10:09 PM PDT up reply actions

Exactly

There’s nothing wrong with pointing out random weird things that are happening in other games. Their relevancy towards your fantasy teams however does not need to be noted.

Got that much.

Didn’t know I couldn’t joke about fantasy baseball, or anything as silly as that.

by mjhhiv on Apr 16, 2010 10:16 PM PDT up reply actions

Fantasy baseball is a no no

We don’t need any Jed Latkin’s around here telling us how awesome John Dowd’s 4-5 night is for two of their 3 imaginary numbers teams.

But if Willie Bloomquist goes 4-4 with 4 home runs or Todd Wellemeyer is throwing a no hitter, well that might make for interesting conversation.

[DELETED ZOMG NO POLITICS]

by bluemax on Apr 16, 2010 10:18 PM PDT up reply actions

Yeap, understood.

People more or less freaked out when I mentioned it earlier, not knowing the rule. I was kidding about… that situation, not fantasy itself.

Ah, this is too convoluted for me. Have at it.
