When you started talking,
I thought your “What a game!” was referring to Tuesday’s game, and knowing that you recorded before the game I thought, “Wow, they called that one.”
Listening to this makes me feel terrible for the Astros
And I basically hate the Astros.
Hehe, the Astros.
I am rooting for them to go 0-162.

I love podcasts.

Jack seriously needs to get Dayton Moore on the phone like yesterday.

I guess it can be categorized as
those panicking are the ones that felt this team was playoff-certified with the offseason moves. The cynical, frustrated or the realists are the ones that know with such a fickle division you’re only setting yourself up for disappointment by calling it so early. And on that note, fortunately no matter what I’m calling we won’t hit rock bottom. The Astros will be there to pad that fall.

Wow, some hostility at the end there.
Maybe the drug Jeff needs is pot. It’ll mellow him out, but won’t hurt his creativity as he’ll be able to McGuyver a bong out of any random set of objects and know every recipe for quesadillas.

RE: Canadians feeling like they have to root for the Blue Jays rather than a team that is geographically closer.
TV? I would think that maybe all of Canada gets Blue Jays games on TV, rather than a closer team.
Yeah, Jays games are broadcasted on TV nationally rather than a closer team.
But I live in BC and they broadcast a Mariners game once in awhile on Sportsnet Pacific… The same goes for all the other Sportsnet channels in other regions: Atlantic, Central, etc.
The sad thing is, we probably get more Cubs and Braves games because Chicago’s WGN and Atlanta’s Peachstreet TV are both included in a cheap cable package… sigh

Had a hard time containing my laughter while listening at work. Good job, boys.
