Cliff Lee had surgery on left foot

Reports indicate its a minor surgery to remove bone spurs. Expected to miss at least two weeks to three weeks . Will resume full baseball activities before regular season. Link Here and here.

Star-divide

Sounds like nothing, though  I don't like to have the words "Surgery" and "Cliff Lee" match together. I don't know why this could have been done sooner like Pujols did, but then again it doesn't faze Z so I think things will work out fine.

Some commercial? It’s an awesome .GIF for sure.

How dare you

suggest that he couldn’t have had pre-emptive surgery before he knew there was a problem? I think Cliff Lee just hates baseball, like Adam Dunn.

Are you implying

that grittiness, hustle, and character do not contribute to building winning chemistry??? I’ll bet you Cliff Lee has a very low eqGRIT.

Sigh...another Bedard

If he was a gamer like Schilling or Sabathia, he wouldn’t need surgery. What a stupid trade, Z.

Kirby Arnold says it might be a good thing

given the fact that Lee pitched somewhere in the neighborhood of 270 innings last year (including playoffs). A little more rest for that arm might help.
