I'm calling out to my fellow LL'ers for a little help. This may not warrant a FanPost, so I'm playing it safe and making it a FanShot.

Here's the deal:

My friends fiancee has come to me for help in finding him a quality M's jersey for his birthday. Every jersey I've ever bought has been from the team store, so I know little about finding jerseys on the web. If anyone of you is a web-shopping guru when it comes to finding jerseys, I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks.

The team store is where you find the best quality ones

But there’s also Seattle Team Sports, or whatever it’s called there on occidental right across from the park. I think their jerseys are the authentics, though, so the same ones you’d get on the team site or at the team store.

How about you buy one of these two from the Seattle Times store?

Although I think these are shirts not Jerseys. Too bad.

Right now I'm dreaming of Carl Crawford. Maybe next year...(or this year at the trade deadline)...

I’ve only bought through it once, for a WBC jersey, but they are the same jerseys you buy in the team store, and the prices are comparable. You just gotta pay the extra shipping

I bought my last jersey through eBay and went through MLB.com the time before.

You just need to make sure you read the details when you buy online. You have to make sure the size you want is available and the jersey is authentic. There are some “authentic” replicas out there you could be overpaying for.

If price isn’t an issue, I would suggest going with MLB.com. If price is an issue, then search all over the internet and then compare the price with MLB.com. Also make sure you do a Google search for coupons before purchasing. Lots of sites have coupon codes for 10-20% off or free shipping.
