RRS signs with Astros in daring maneuver
That he signed with Houston will make it all the easier to keep rooting for him, since there's no reason for us to care about Houston at all. And he'll get a shot to compete for the fifth rotation slot. It's just - well you can imagine my worry. If I had to think of the worst possible place for RRS to pitch, Houston would be at or near the top of the list. It's not Texas, but it sure ain't San Diego. Godspeed, Ryan.

I'm happy he got a major league deal.
I had a nagging worry that he would get effed on some minor league bullshit.
He's a soft-tossing lefty.
I think the sole reason he signed with an NL central club is to one-hit the Cardinals in June.

I'm just happy he didn't wind up with a Team I Hate
RRS as an Angel would have been too much to take

Tee Hee.
...and now I'm here
Good luck, RRS.
At least you got a job in the easier league.
