Mariners interested in Matt Diaz as platoon partner for Saunders
The Mariners do need a more reliable fourth outfielder than Milton Bradley and Michael Saunders could probably use some protection, so this makes sense. A number of teams are interested in Diaz, but focus less on the name and more on the "RH OF" part of it all. The M's will find one somewhere. I hear one possibility has crazy eyes.

If they build a true platoon, it's basically telling Saunders "Fuck you; you'll never hit LHP."
If they use Diaz to occasionally spell Saunders with a lefty on the mound, I’d be more okay with this.
I'd love to see Moore/Zaun at catcher
Zaun’s defense is one of those minor things in baseball that I love to watch for some reason. If he wants to spend 2011 showing Adam how it’s done, I say sign him up.
