Season's Final Fun Fact?
Yeah, I doubt it. This year has been a statistical Easter egg hunt, and I still haven't checked in the garden.
Willie Bloomquist, Seattle Mariner: .263/.322/.324
2010 Seattle Mariners: .236/.298/.339
That bench player we all couldn't wait to get rid of out-hit our entire team.
Be careful what you wish for. Sometimes you end up with Josh Wilson.

I love being a Mariners fan.
This really is funny.

But not a contender.
At least the Reds give him that.
See! Converting to Ms fandom was the right move.
Hard work never killed nobody, but I won't take my chances.
I agree 100% with this comment.
It’s hilarious.
I mean, really, Princess Willie outhit our team. The one with Ichiro on it.

101 dingers, 101 losses.
And the best part was that at the game, on the video board they showed a woman who was at the game celebrating her 101st birthday. It was perfect.

Hope you enjoyed the last baseball game you'll ever see. 2010 Mariners baseball!

Of course, by the time I respond to sb, you've done this.

Of course he out-hit our team.
This is what you all get for wanting to change the site logo. Are you happy now, bitch?
If anything, we have learned that we need more grit.

I bet you he's the next Jose Bautista.
He just needs someone to give him a shot at starting regularly.

I would wonder if Josh Wilson is the next Mariner turned Royal.
But they’ve been strangely competent recently, or at least their farm system is no longer bad. What they do with that is another matter.

The scary thing is what happens for them when Moustakas, Hosmer, and Montgomery come up.
They could actually be relevant.
Myers and Lamb aren't exactly slouches eiter.
Whether Myers can catch or not, no one knows exactly, but he can certainly hit.

Yuniesky Betancourt out-hit the team as well
We could build a solid roster of shitty* players that are better than the collective Mariners
*Shitty meaning that your thought after hearing the player’s name is That Guy is Shitty!
How many of you would have turned your nose up at Alberto Callaspo or Kevin Kouzmanoff for third? Guess what!
How about Juan Uribe or Miguel Tejada at short? That would not have looked appealing, right?
I manually calculated the Mariners hitting stats without Ichiro.
I used the BR stats and their formula for calculating OBP and SLG.
Non-Ichiro Mariner totals: .224/.287/.332
At least Josh Wilson was cheaper
Unfortunately, we can’t say the same for Jack Wilson.

Boom Boom plays for the Reds.
Fucking A.
Was he left off Cincy's post season roster?
He first came up in 2002, so he never made the playoffs with the M’s.
Well there's my Monday morning kick to the crotch sponsored by Lookout Landing.
