Not gonna lie - I'm more excited for this night game than I've been for a Mariners game in, what, years?

Meanwhile, that game hardly anyone cares about is already on.
I’m sure last night’s game was thrilling, but the outcome left me irritated and I didn’t even want the Rangers to win.

Well, I'm pretty sure it's on ESPN radio.
But for some reason I am getting horrible reception on that station today…
I’m not sure about an online stream. But here’s Gameday.
I hate both of these teams and their fans so much.
I sometimes find myself engaged in combat with hobos.
It's like rooting for Genghis Khan over Hitler.

So what inning will the Rangers blow this lead? 6th? 7th?

Who cares.
What inning will a run be scored in the Phillies/Giants game, is the more interesting question. I’m gonna say the tenth inning, after Lincecum and Halladay both pitch nine inning one hitters. In an effort to protect their arms, they will be taken out of the game and replaced by relievers, who will immediately give up 3 or 4 runs.
The Yankees have the Rangers riiiiight where they want them.....

I'm a bandwagon Rangers fan because of Lee
But if the Rangers manage to lose this game I’m gonna lose my mind.
Aww man, Joe Morgan on the radio
At least this means he won’t be on for the evening game.
He doesn't broadcast, he's giving a baseball clinic.
Worst kind of color commenting
Most of the patients seem to be dying.
he should be sued for malpractice.

I'm just going to put all this in a flag and spare the GT
My apologies everyone
Are they still playing baseball? They've stopped talking about this game
Oh god. I’m dying. Yes. I am dead. My goddamn cat is now homeless.
The pitcher has to throw strikes! Thank you Joe!
Maybe they should throw some motherfucking curve balls, eh Joe?
I have learned there is no such thing as a fast runner or a slow runner.
According to Joe Wisdom you either: run well or don’t run well.
Griffey!
Hmmm...
A friend of mine looks like her knees are going to knock together when she’s sprinting. Does that mean she doesn’t run well?

Ian Kinsler also resembles a LOLcat.
Or at least his gameday photo does.

Seriously, this game started 2 hours ago and the 6th inning is just starting.

The only this more disheartening than listening to Joe Morgan, is know that I have to listen to Joe Buck tonight.
Fuck that noise.

Something warm and fuzzy I'm sure.
Do Rangers fans realize they traded Arod? Fucking idiots.

It's Arod's fault he was offered 23 assloads of money and said yes?

I know Texas have deer (antlers), but I don't think of bear (bear claws) when I hear 'Texas'..
Guess I have to google in order to become smarter..
The Ursus AmericANUS “..At least two subspecies of Black Bear are thought to occur in Texas: the Mexican Black Bear (Ursus americanus eremicus) and the New Mexico Black Bear (subspecies U. a. amblyceps). Both are found in West Texas in desert scrub or woodland habitats within scattered mountain ranges, predominantly the Chisos and Guadalupe Mountains. Both subspecies are state-listed as endangered in Texas..” – Parks & Wildlife
It looks like the site passed 10 mil visits this week.
More evidence of just what a dynamic community LL is and why I’ve enjoyed visiting here for years.
So I'm over in England and managed to get ,
Dogfish Raison d’Etre and Faison Peche for the game….. they any good? As I have no idea!
Via Bill Simmons tweet:
Kudos to Gene Simmons. He’s done an outstanding job announcing this baseball game with Ernie Johnson and John Smoltz.

Gameday has him at 9th wit Victorino as the leadoff man.

Retweet from Sullivan from someone named TimKawakami
Trying to link the twitter post, but I can’t make it work.
He didn't say that the lineup was in reverse order, he said that they were introduced in reverse order.

Oh. After this Joe Morgan experience I'm lucky if I can tie my shoes.
Seriously, I literally feel dumber now.

Shoot. I just noticed you need to add a subject line to your comments as well.
Mea culpa.

I'm using Chrome and having no problems.
I know .gifs are discouraged in the gamethread but I figured it wouldn’t be a 1,000+ comment episode and thus an exception.
I had no idea he had a 4 WAR season.
Higher than Howard and Rollins, and about equal to the two of the combined.
Nice one Raul. Good to see you keeping up the old ways.
Hard work never killed nobody, but I won't take my chances.
'cause of the long hair.
Is it smart of funny yet?
Yes he was. He was really amazing, though. Not one mistake and his tone was great.
A fifth grader that is probably better than most high schoolers.
Oh shit it's Cody Ross.

I love it when McCarver is explaining how a player is so good because such and such, then a moment later the player does the opposite and McCarver quickly praises the other player and explains why they are so great at doing such and such.
I'd like to see it snowball into catastrophe after catastrophe until nothing is worthy of commentary.
Just once.

Pablo Sandoval is on deck
Evacuate beneath deck.
I like how the ballgirl made no attempt to catch that
Just picked up her chair and moved out of the way.
You think Manuel waited until there were two outs to send in a pinch runner, McCarver?
Thanks for making that clear to us.
It is.

Luis Ugueto is no longer in affiliated baseball.
But he is playing for the Cardenales in Venezuela, biding his time for the inevitable triumphant comeback.
Seriously, we’ve seen Wilson Valdez and Oswaldo Navarro play games in the big leagues this year. What the hell.

There's an interview where he explains it, and I would find it and post it here but
WOOOOOOOOOOOO GIANTSSSS
It's a salute to his appreciation of MMA fighting, a tribute to his Christian faith, and a rememberance of his late father
Here is an article that mentions it, and talks about Wilson.

PUMPKIN NINJA!

This game was so frustrating to watch and without looking I'm blaming the home plate ump's strike zone
It appeared to be fuzzy at the edges. Inconsistent. 6th inning, Halladay was covering home plate after he gave up a double, I swear he said “I had him out”. He said something just prior to to that that stood the ump up straight, “fuck you”? Either way, lousy strike zone, had both pitchers blue balled at the corners. B.S.

I’m donating to their site, ASAP. Nice piece of work
Heh.
The notoriously tough Philly fans came up with a unique way to mock Lincecum instead of the usual boos. They serenaded him with whistles when he batted in the fifth and seventh, presumably poking fun at his long, shaggy hair.
“I must have a really nice butt,” Lincecum said. “I was hearing a lot of them.”
They did a bit more than that..
Signs behind dugout get personal with Tim Lincecum.. Not sure if Philie fans understand when ‘funny’ becomes ‘asshole’..
