Who likes maps? I do, transit maps particularly. The London Underground map is considered the gold standard for transit maps - it was the first map to use relative positions instead of actual geography, and straight lines instead of actual routes, and it made the London Underground make sense for the first time. Now some smartyboots scientist has adapted the London Underground map model and mapped the Milky Way in the same style, which is kinda cool.
What else is going on? Anything exciting happening this weekend? Anybody want to hire me?
