The link isn't work yet so I might as well ask here:
Will they ship to England, and if not would anyone be kind enough to send me a copy [I will cover all costs involved of course].
Most US online retailers ship to Canada, but getting it over that pond is a whole different kettle of fish it seems...

I mentioned in the previous post that it appears they will go across the pond.
At least they were willing to ship to the US consulate in Edinburgh…
Just ordered from Australia...
so I’m sure they’ll do the same for England as well. Just put in my order… and the link works now :)
How much did it cost you for shipping? I had to pay $12 for it ... I'll be pissed if this ends up on Amazon with their shipping rates!

$12 for me as well
I guess we can’t ask for everything, especially when we’re on the other side of the world!
I'm starting to wonder
If they knew what they were getting themselves into, demand-wise. They’re based in MA, so they’re clearly accustomed to rabid fanbases, but they may not have encountered one quite so monomanically focused and web-oriented. Of course, all the LL and USSM diehards who order on the first day from them presumably won’t be buying one in stores. It’ll be interesting to hear how sales go among the wider fanbase.
I suspect their local rabid fanbase doesn't read much.

Considering they are still selling the BoSox Annuals from 2007 and 2008
on Amazon, their local rabid fanbase apparently doesn’t look at a calendar much either.
Rec'd for the Critic.
Oh, and because of the book.
I will smash your face into a jelly.

It's better though. Gutierrez and Felix are on the cover*
so it’s the book that makes you hard.**
*I don’t actually know who or what is on the cover.
**This joke is immature. My apologies.

According to the website, Ichiro is on the cover
by seattlebruin on Jan 12, 2010 1:50 PM PST up reply actions
I'd feel wrong getting hard with Ichiro.
Felix and Guti, less so.

NoScript does NOT like that website.

Keys to the 2010 Season
- “Take a walk”
- “Down Memory”
- “Lane”
I get the first one, but the others are so Krueger-esque that they could mean anything.
Short on money at the moment, so I'll just pre order it in February or something.
My Mariners blog - SodoMojo, Twitter Feed, Fuck the fucking Angels!
And done.
This should shatter some kind of record.

It appears to be up to number 5 already
That’s quite a showing in less than a day on pre-sale

Lovely, done, ordered
£15 I probably can’t afford, but you only live once!

Anyone else having trouble ordering with Discover?
Says “The card type you have selected does not match the number entered. Please try again.” I’ve double checked and tried 3 times now.
Stupid social pariahs still using Discover…

I would normally say this pic needs to be smaller
but it’s so awesome I don’t give a damn how big it is.
There's another picture
Where I got this one — from this thread at some obscure baseball blog….

Didn't the team used to have a ship that fired off canons or something?
I’m probably just combining the tugboat with the Buccaneers boat. Pre 1990’s Mariners…I wasn’t missing much.

Can someone please explain where there is a boat in the diamond please?

Congratulations to all involved.
Also, if this were to become an annual event for the required length of time, would you receive an official HOF ballot?
We'll start getting ballots once all the boring old biddies die off

Pedro Gomez!
Now that Bonds is gone what the hell is he reporting on? Thanks to the MLB Network I’ve probably watched about 3 minutes of ESPN over the past year.

Yay, ordered.
Can’t wait, this is a great selection of authors.
I think my order pushed it from 5th to 4th on the bestseller list.
I wonder how many more we have to order to get it to 1st?

For the life of me I can't find the bestseller list.
Care to provide a link?
by Phil Hatzenbuehler on Jan 13, 2010 8:47 AM PST up reply actions
Go into the shopping cart.
You might be able to do it without adding anything to it, but I don’t see that link. If you go to order a book, when you get to the cart it’ll be on the right hand side.
