Batista Again?
What in the world were we trying to do last night, give the Angels the game? Why Batista instead of Vargas, Jak or Aardsma? This guy can throw 94-95 mph now, but does he have a clue where the strike zone is located? I thought the purpose of a reliever is to help your team stay in the game or heaven forbid, WIN! Somebody lost site of this fact last night. Send this Clown back to wherever he came from or maybe to the Mexican Leagues, maybe they don't give a sh... when he does it again to the Mariner's, I DO!

I'm confused as to how you root for Oregon State in football, but not in basketball
and Arizona in basketball, but not in football. Almost coincidentally, Oregon State is good at football but not basketball, and vice versa for Arizona.
Uh, maybe his parents went to one and he went to the other?
Or one parent went to Oregon State and the other parent went to Arizona? My friend, although not a huge sports fan, supports WSU because his mom went there and Michigan State because his dad went there.

So you're saying that you're a loser?
Can’t give a new poster a break, eh? ; )

Because all Oregon fans are dumb asscunts who cant tell their ass the thing sticking out of their moms tits.

I don't know why they keep letting him into the cider cellar

That assumes he ever left after the initial arrival.

This was a worthwhile fanpost.
Also, “Mariner’s”? We can do better than this, people.

Also, "lost site"
And why is Clown capitalized?

Not to pile on
but Eyebrows is right – this sort of thing is probably better kept in a game thread or the like.
Nice Guys Finish Third - My semantics are a waste of time.
Ah.
Let’s all view this as a learning opportunity! Or a teachable moment! Or something!
Nice Guys Finish Third - My semantics are a waste of time.
Can someone explain where we draw the line between grammar nazi and not grammar nazi?
I for one am flipping confused as hell and if I am confused then I’m pretty sure we are being unfair.
That did seem a little overly pedantic to me
especially considering the newbie status of the original poster.
Nice Guys Finish Third - My semantics are a waste of time.
I'm confused too
I’ll say this: the occasional slip should be ignored, but if someone makes a habit out of something (like the fact that I can’t spell occasionally) it’s rude not to point it out.
Letting new users know that they are expected to follow proper spelling and grammar is also important because, well, they are.

Unfair is probably the wrong word too because fair is a pipe dream.
I guess consistent is what I was meaning. I agree that new people need to know the standards that are expected of them and I am sorry this was a response to Eyebrows, because Eyebrows rocks, as it was more of a global comment.
Yeah, I got your drift
It’s a hard line to judge though, especially for new users. How do you tell the difference between slip-up and just not knowing how to write?
For people we’re familiar with, we assume it’s a slip up. For new guys… well.

I think in general, community regulars should get much more leeway when it comes to grammar/spelling
as long as posters have a track record of posting intelligibly, there’s no reason to think they have to be reminded constantly – a new poster on the other hand, with completely random errors in their words, we should point this kind of stuff out.

However
as I recall beluga tits didn’t begin as a derogatory term
Blame Jack Wilson for his costly error.
Or the offense in general.
Batista wouldn’t have pitched otherwise.
I'm so glad mods can look this stuff up

If you wait long enough, you can sometimes.
Google "Recommended ________ " and you might get the profile of the person.
Doesn’t work in this case though.

If his employers were alerted to employees excessive use of Google in such a trivial manner, I wonder if they would block that also
Funny how quickly employers move to block sites once alerted. Did I say also? Oops
Step 1 of the Eyebrows containment plan completed, on to step 2.
Your days are numbered. Muahahaha. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (There is a gif of this evil laugh, but I’m not going to show it to you)
Eh, it's a fair enough question why Wakamatsu would use arguably his worst reliever in a high leverage situation
Short answer is Jak was unavailable, Tits is the other long reliever, saving Aardsma for if we have the lead.
Wak didn't like the idea of extra innings
He wanted to go to bed early.
Probably had some fishing to do.
